As we head into another lockdown, with local businesses closing and more restrictions on movement coming in, I thought it might be interesting to sketch a few of the local areas in Paphos, where life has changed subtly over the last year or so. One change I notice a lot is that as access to betting shops has been restricted, so the customers congregate in the square and watch the screen from a bench, instead of sitting outside on tables.

Abigail Daker
ABI DAKER. ILLUSTRATOR. I specialise in creating unique, hand rendered artwork for my clients. My attention to detail and strong drawing technique means that my work is ideally suited to creating illustrated maps, panoramic cityscapes and perspective drawings. Previous commissions have included large scale graphics for vinyl wall applications and window displays, a series of wine labels and a variety of editorial and literary projects. My work reflects my interest in both the graphic and linear qualities of the world and aims to reflect these in an imaginative and engaging way. All work is drawn freehand and can be supplied in a range of digital formats and sizes. If you are seeking an illustrator with exceptional technical skills who can provide a creative solution to a brief then please do get in touch to discuss your project.
