Poster design for Creative Review tweetup - Two illustrations created in response to the Creative Review/Tate Gallery tumblr, which invited submissions based around the infamous - and shortlived - Vorticist publication.
- The Blast image above was drawn in a Vorticist style and shows Chernobyl power station, after the explosion. The image below - Bless - shows a wind farm. The idea of the brief was to 'Blast' or 'Bless' two different things and I thought that the contrast between these two forms of energy production would be an interesting way to interpret the brief in a contemporary way.
The Blast image won the Creative Review competition and was used as a poster during the Tweetup event. 
Description
Poster design based around Vorticist theme for a Creative Review competition. This illustration won and was distributed at a Creative Review event at Tate Britain in 2011.
